Our friend Sally!

Our friend Sally at Starbucks has always treated us special!
We have been going to Starbucks every Monday Morning since the first Monday in January.
Sally has often treated us to samples of muffins, breads, coffee and always a warming hello!

So thank you, Sally...we do appreciate you!

It is always a blessing to start each week by helping our
neighborhood food banks with substantial items.
Many thanks to Sharon, Robin, Mary Jo, Madelyn, Eleanor, Beverly and Anna.
Beverly saved 76% today....and passed out extra coupons

Groceries for S.O.S. Magnolia Food Bank

A "BIG FAT MONDAY"
is how today was described...we had so many bags of groceries for the Magnolia Food Bank S.O.S.
At last count we had 42 boxes of Hamburger Helper!  Krogers had HH on sale for 10/$10...that is a good price, but add a coupon for $1 off of 3 HH...that makes it a "FAT DEAL"!
66%, 65%, 53%...savings today!
Our groceries today really made an impact to the shelves at S.O.S.
Thanks to Anna, Sue, Madelyn, Eleanor, Sharon, Robin, Donna, Mary Jo and our newest Angels
Beverly and sweet little girl Tiger!
Hope to see you next Monday...together we can make every Monday "FAT"!

Please Pray for Seanton-MHS student

From Seanton's Dads Journal.......

I still at times throughout the day, and even while sitting looking at Seanton’s from across his room, find it hard to believe that this is really happening. Even after four months it still seems like a bad dream that I’m going to wake up from any moment know. I don’t’ believe that God has allowed me to fully wrap myself around the reality of this because if I did I would not be able to handle it. I believe that it is also the faith inside of me too that has kept me from falling apart in the midst of this, and has allowed me to stay as strong as I can for my family, until Seanton comes home completely whole. Just like Paul said in Acts 26: 2, I have to think myself happy every day. Before I leave Nexus each evening, I tell Seanton that he is getting better everyday, that he is doing so good and to keep on hanging in there. So not only do I think myself happy but I try to think Seanton happy by encouraging him to keep on fighting. One of my favorite scriptures, which is Proverbs 18:21, that the people that know me best know I live by is “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. Me and negatively have never gotten along! In other words, I must not only be positive, but positive things must come out of mouth, and I have always believed that being positive is the only way to go in everything I do. Why, because it makes the difference between death and life, and I want Seanton to live and have life more abundantly, so please keep speaking positive things, keep praying, keep fasting, and keep believing for the healing of my son Seanton!!!

Anna's two cents

The 10 for $10 is back! This means that you must purchase 10 items  on the list in order to get the reduced price. I stopped by Kroger and got a list of all the items that are included and will have it with me tomorrow.
Some of the items on the list for which I have seen coupons lately for are:
Progresso soup,Ritz Crackers,Jello pudding, Juicy Juice, Kraft Mayo, Kraft Salad Dressing, and Pop Tarts.  If you don't have enough coupons to make up 10 items, the Kraft easy mac is 50 cents.

Some kellogs cereals are on sale for $1.99, which can be a great buy if you have the coupons.
I think that we are donating to Stonebridge this week, so no refrigerated items.

I found that my coupons worked better with Randal's ad this week, so I made a trip there, instead. Not to brag, BUT for only $9.78 I was able to buy 8 cans of progresso soup,  2 Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereals, 1 kraft dressing, 2 Barillo spaghetti sauces, and 2 barillo pastas, for a total savings of 73%.
