For S.O.S.

WOW!
Coupons/Sales/Cash Back = A boat-load of groceries!
Not so shabby!

After shopping the "10" sale at Krogers we learned we got back $3.00 for every 10 items!
Bev was the winner when she walked out of the store with $15 cash back for buying 30 items.
Of course the 30 items she bought were on sale and of course she had coupons!
So....she donated the $15 cash back to the Coupon Angels!

We all were pretty amazed!
Thanks to Sue, Jana T, Kathy, Donna, Madeline, Anna, Bev and Diane...it was a great grocery day!

The Coupon Angels will have a table at
"Share Fair"
this Saturday.
We are hoping to share with others about all of the
fun, laughter, chatting, sipping coffee, more laughter and...our strategy for using
coupon/sales
We are hoping others can start there own Coupon Angels to help their local food banks or
come join us!

Stone Bridge Food Bank, Magnolia Texas

How much do you think
7 tubes of Colgate toothpaste cost?

How about Nothing!
How about Nada!
How about FREE!

Colgate coupon for 50 cents
Kroger doubled  = $1.00
Cologate was on sale for 98 cents
FREE!

Just think if everyone in Magnolia cashed in their
Colgate Coupon...we would have a truck load of toothpaste to donate to our food banks!
You got to love Free!

Speaking of Love...we also made a
Sweetheart Basket
for a special girl...It is true, it is better to give than receive
because we had so much fun putting this basket together!

It was Sweet!

Groceries for StoneBridge Food Bank

A few of the lovely Coupon Angels
Welcome Diane!

After loading the car with bags and bags of the groceries for StoneBridge food bank,
(groceries were more than half free thanks to coupon/sales)
one of the ladies said,

"I don't know why I haven't been doing this before"...
"I don't know why I haven't been doing this for years and years!"

and I understood what she meant.
Me too.
Why haven't I been doing more!
Why haven't I used my spare time and spare change
for all these years to help take the burden off families that need a little extra help?
Was I too busy?
Was I too unaware?
Was I too uncaring?

I think I just did not know how to help.
Would the little that I could do really make a difference?

now I know...the little that everyone can do
makes a big difference!  Just think...how many more groceries and
toothpaste we could have donated if more
of you lovely ladies joined us every Monday morning.
or...choose your own way of giving.  It really make a difference in your own life!

Melinda

for Wildwood Family Assistance

Wildwood United Methodist Church
FM 1488
Magnolia, Texas

I'm not sure if I am on
dreary overload
with the cold weather, brown grass, no flowering plants,
grey skies...the winter blues...
but I noticed that the Coupon Angels groceries this week were
 soooooo pretty!
The bright colors really caught my eye...
alot of yellow and red and pretty blue colors!

Take a close look of the bouquet of colors!

Our Coupons + Sales really did the job this week!
We saved over 50% on the shinny, sparkly, colorful packages!

Plus we are donating over 50 cans of Del-Monte Vegetables that were a great deal at 32 cents a can again this week!
Makes a Mom Proud!

Thanks to Donna, Eleanor, Sue, Anna, Madelyn, Robin, Debbie for
 brightening
the pantry of our neighbors that need a little extra help during dreary days!

to be Christ-centered,
Melinda
